Customer Reviews
This DVD sees a smartened-up Stranglers with string backing
If you are expecting the boys in leathers, forget it! They're suited and strutting the Albert Hall stage singing many of their best-known numbers. Even they wouldn't have imagined 21 years earlier that they would be backed by a string band of women in black dresses! The music is fine, but the ambience didn't quite click for me. The audience laps it up though. A must for any Stranglers collector.
